Once again a major publication puts out an article about bigoted rock lyrics and their inflammatory nature with nary a mention of that old rock ‘n’ roll mainstay: sexism.
Yes, racial slurs are inflammatory, but what do you call it when a bunch of stupid boys, both white and black, sing lyrics that degrade women or boast of violence against them (Motley Crue and N.W.A)?
Bigotry against women affects over half of the population without regard for race, religion or sexual orientation.
