New York Yankee outfielder Dave Winfield has agreed to pay $163,000 in alimony and attorneys’ fees to a woman that a jury in Houston ruled is his common-law wife.
Winfield agreed to the payment and postponed his appeal of the jury’s ruling in June that he and Sandra Renfro had a common-law marriage in 1982-85.
