Warning Zone Wins Oak Tree Feature

Warning Zone, ridden by Rafael Meza, withstood a late challenge by Down Again late in the stretch to win the $85,425 Autumn Days Handicap by a neck Wednesday in the Oak Tree meeting at Santa Anita.

Warning Zone, carrying 119 pounds, was timed in 1:12 4/5 for the about 6 1/2-furlong race on the turf and paid $12.00, $4.80 and $3.40.

Down Again, the favorite, returned $4.00 and $3.00. Stormy but Valid was third and paid $6.60.
