Forty paintings by jazz great Miles Davis and 20 paintings by rocker John Mellencamp will go on display this weekend at Triangle Galleries in Beverly Hills. The month-long exhibition marks the first public showing of Mellencamp’s art work. Kicking off the exhibition will be two invitation-only, $100-per-person, opening night events: a Saturday benefit for Harbor Interfaith Shelter, and a Sunday benefit for the Greater Los Angeles partnership for the Homeless. The show opens to the public on Monday.
