Proposed Weldon Canyon Landfill to Be Discussed at Meeting Tonight
- Share via
Waste Management of California will hold a public meeting tonight to discuss the landfill it has proposed for Weldon Canyon at the mouth of the Ojai Valley.
The firm is planning a series of meetings to explain the Weldon Canyon proposal and discuss its expertise in the field of solid waste management technology.
Meanwhile, the first draft of an environmental impact report on the site--which is being prepared by Ventura County--will be available the first week in November, a Waste Management spokesman said.
The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the Ventura County Fairgrounds Gem and Mineral Building.
