Community College Roundup : Oldham Sparks OCC With Three Goals

Paul Oldham scored three goals in the second half, leading host Orange Coast College to a 4-0 victory over Cuyamaca in a nonconference men’s soccer match Tuesday.

Andy Strouse also tallied as the Pirates (3-2) scored all of their goals in the second half. Cuyamaca is 2-2-1.

Mt. San Antonio 3, Cypress 2--Hugo Leon and Diego Abbes scored for Cypress. Mt. San Antonio is 2-1-2.

In women’s nonconference volleyball:

Fullerton 3, MiraCosta 0--Christy Richmond had nine kills as visiting Fullerton swept, 15-7, 15-12, 15-6. Fullerton is 2-0.

Cypress 3, Mt. San Antonio 0--Michelle Livingston had seven assists and five kills as the Chargers defeated host Mt. SAC, 15-3, 15-4, 15-10.

Saddleback 3, Chaffey 0--Cyndi Rhone had 11 kills and four service aces and Laura Farrell had 10 kills to lead host Saddleback (3-0), 15-4, 15-9, 15-9.
