TANAGURAMACHI, Japan — Arizona State University boosted its lead to 18 strokes today after two rounds in the 54-hole U.S.-Japan Collegiate Friendship Golf Tournament.
The team of Arizona State’s Phil Mickelson and Michiko Hattori of the University of Texas moved to a 15-stroke lead over Sweden’s Robert Karlsson and Annika Sorenstam in the Shiseido Cup International College Golf Tournament, being held simultaneously.
