Malcolm Forbes’ Birthday Bash

I hope Californians are outraged by Gov. Deukmejian’s attendance at this grotesque gala. Forbes flew the governor to this Moroccan party because he “likes his fiscal conservatism.” Interesting that spending $2 million on a birthday party is consistent with fiscal conservatism.
Such flagrant arrogance on the part of our governor, who cuts family planning funding for low-income women and flies to Morocco for millionaires’ birthday parties, is intolerable. It’s clear where Deukmejian’s priorities lie.
