4 Killed, 4 Wounded in Street Violence

Four people were killed and four were wounded in street violence Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, including three cases of drive-by shootings, authorities said.
Two of those shootings, which killed two teen-agers and wounded two other people, took place in South-Central Los Angeles, police said. The third drive-by killed a 17-year-old boy in Compton, said Police Lt. Joe Flores.
In a fourth shooting, one person was slain in Inglewood and two others were wounded in an ambush, said Inglewood Police Officer Gary Luckett.
