Heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson paid $300 in fines and agreed to conduct three youth clinics after pleading guilty to two speeding charges in Albany, N.Y.
Tyson, appearing in Albany traffic court along with boxing promoter Don King, was fined $100 for an April 26 incident in which police said they clocked Tyson’s 1989 Lamborghini at 71 m.p.h in a 30-m.p.h zone as he raced another vehicle.
For the second incident, which occurred on the morning of May 5, Tyson was fined $200. Authorities said Tyson got that ticket after driving at an imprudent speed in a 30-m.p.h zone, again while racing another vehicle.
