Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. Ira Reiner is the most recognized candidate in the 1990 race for state attorney general, according to a California Poll. Reiner was recognized by 49% of the 754 registered voters polled, compared to 26% for the Republican candidate, former Rep. Dan Lungren of Long Beach, and 27% for another Democratic candidate, San Francisco Dist. Atty. Arlo Smith. Reiner had the highest favorable rating, 33%, compared to 15% for Lungren and 9% for Smith. Reiner also had the highest unfavorable rating, 16%, compared to 11% for Lungren and 8% for Smith.
