Bernard P. Vanderfin has been appointed senior vice president-finance and administration at MGM/UA Telecommunications, Culver City. Following the merger between MGM/UA and Qintex Entertainment Inc., Vanderfin will remain with the new United Artists Corp. Vanderfin previously was senior vice president and chief financial officer at RCA/Columbia Home Video.
