Border Patrol Pilot Killed in Crash in Arizona Desert

SAN LUIS, Ariz. — A U.S. Border Patrol pilot was killed Friday when his single-engine plane crashed in the desert about four miles north of this U.S.-Mexico border town, Border Patrol officials said. The victim was identified as David Roberson, 48, a 23-year veteran of the patrol. The cause of the crash had not been determined.
