Sears Sells Eva Gabor Unit: Sears, Roebuck & Co. announced that it has sold its majority interest in Eva Gabor International Ltd. to an investment group made up of former Eva Gabor management, BN Capital Corp. and other independent investors for about $19.6 million. Eva Gabor International, the world’s largest distributor of wigs and hairpieces, was a subsidiary of Western Auto Supply Co., which was acquired by Sears in April, 1988. Minority stockholders, including Eva Gabor, have also sold their interests, but Gabor will remain prominently associated with the wig company that bears her name.
