Conejo Valley House Sales Average a Record $355,335

Sales of single-family houses set a record average price of $355,335 in May, according to the Conejo Valley Board of Realtors. The average was 8% higher than the April average and a 35% increase from May, 1988. The previous record average house price was $337,633 set in March. A total of 205 houses were sold in May.

Condominium sales also continued strong in May, with an average price of $176,265, which was a 2% dip from April. The record condominium average price was set in March at $184,769. A total of 78 condominiums were sold last month.

The Conejo Valley Board of Realtors surveys resales of houses and condominiums by its members in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village and Agoura.
