San Jose’s “ski mask rapist,” convicted of sexually assaulting 26 women over three years, was sentenced to 406 years in prison as tears streamed down the face of one of his victims, and another said she was “very glad he’s behind bars.” Santa Clara County Deputy Dist. Atty. Margo Smith said the sentence will keep George Anthony Sanchez, 27, in jail for the rest of his life. Sanchez “is a man who deserves to be in prison for life without the possibility of parole,” she said. “He did not cut, bruise or slice or murder (his victims), but what he’s taken away from them can never be replaced.” Sanchez’s victims ranged in age from 16 to 84.
