Cerritos Wins State JC Baseball Title, 7-5

Cerritos College scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to take a 6-4 lead and went on to defeat Sacramento City College, 7-5, for its ninth State junior college baseball championship Sunday at Sacramento.
Joe Arredondo’s two-run double highlighted the Cerritos rally. The Falcons (43-9) won three straight games in the double-elimination tournament. They opened with a 9-3 win over Sacramento (37-16) and also beat Harbor, 9-3.
