Voters Deliver a Clear Message

Montebello voters delivered a powerful message of support for former Councilman Bill Molinari (Times, May 4). The May 2 election was an overwhelming testimony to Molinari for the leadership he displayed in getting voters to the polls in large numbers. In a special election, 23% of the registered voters turned out, and defeated, by a 3-1 ratio, the eminent domain issues proposed by four members of the current City Council.
The people’s message to City Hall is crystal clear. Our thanks and appreciation goes to Molinari for organizing a grass-roots organization that proved you can fight City Hall and win.
