James C. Dever Jr. has been appointed staff vice president-corporate materiel for Hughes Aircraft Co., Los Angeles. He succeeds Dino W. Ruffoni, who has transferred to the company’s Ground Systems Group in Fullerton as group vice president and director of operating systems and materiel management. Dever, 56, was manager of materiel and general services operations at the TRW Space & Defense Sector.
