OTTAWA — Canada’s unemployment rate, for the third consecutive month, remained unchanged at 7.6% in February, the federal statistical agency reported today.
Statistics Canada said 12,413,000 people were employed in Canada, virtually unchanged from the previous month. The number of jobless remained above 1 million, rising by 5,000 to 1,022,000.
