Truvel Corp. Finishes Mammogram System Pact

Truvel Corp. said that it finished a $750,000 research contract it had been awarded by Spectrum Ten to develop a mammogram system, an X-ray technique used to detect breast tumors.
Chatsworth-based Truvel said that Spectrum Ten, a limited partnership, plans to form a corporation to make and sell the system. Truvel will have a 70% stake in the venture in exchange for non-exclusive manufacturing and sales rights for the system.
