Regarding the Jan. 6 story, “Complaints About Airlines Hit 4-Year Low”:
This reduction could result from fewer incidents worth complaining about or from passengers recognizing that complaining to the Department of Transportation wastes an otherwise good 25-cent stamp. The latter explanation better explains the drop.
