Monterey Park : New Fire Chief Named

Allen McComb, who has served with the Fire Department for 28 years, has been named fire chief effective Saturday. McComb, 49, a fire battalion chief, began his career with the Monterey Park department as a firefighter, and twice has served as acting fire chief. McComb replaces James O. Page, who announced his resignation last month.
