The former owner of the Central National Bank of New York and one of his employees were indicted on charges that they defrauded the defunct bank of more than $35 million, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan said. Those indicted were Jacobo Finkielstain, a Buenos Aires-based real estate developer who was the 99% owner of Central National Bank, and Salomon Kaplan, an employee of Finkielstain’s. Kaplan worked for Finkielstain at Central National Bank’s offices in Buenos Aires.
