Coroner’s officials identified a Swedish man Monday as the passenger of a single-engine plane that crashed Saturday into a Buena Park warehouse.
Anders Ingemar Persson, 30, was killed with pilot Douglas Malcolm Dike, 44, of Riverside when their small plane apparently ran out of fuel and plunged into the roof of a Lucky Food Centers warehouse at Knott Avenue and Caballero Boulevard.
The four-seat Cessna 210 was trying to make an emergency landing at Fullerton Municipal Airport when it crashed about 1 mile away, authorities have said.
The victims died on impact. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.
