A man was struck by a car and dragged 200 to 300 feet in a fatal hit-and-run accident early Sunday, police said.
Paramedics found the body of Galo Humberto Cantuna, 33, of Santa Ana on the pavement in the 2400 block of West 1st Street. Police said Cantuna lived in an apartment near where the accident occurred at 12:57 a.m.
Investigators said Cantuna was dragged by the car before the driver fled. Police said they have no suspects but are looking for a brown 1977 Chevrolet, possibly with a broken headlight.
