CS Long Beach Opens Season Tonight at Purdue

Cal State Long Beach will open its basketball season tonight against Purdue at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind.
The 49ers, starting their second season under Coach Joe Harrington, were 17-12 last season.
Three new players--forward Rolf Jacobs and guards Darrell Faulkner and Brian Jones--are expected to start along with two veterans--center John Hatten and forward Rudy Harvey.
Purdue lost its opener at Kansas State, 81-77, Saturday night.
