Andrea Stinson scored 22 points in her college debut Friday to lead No. 15 North Carolina State to a 67-60 victory over the UCLA women’s basketball team at the Hall of Fame Classic in Cincinnati.
UCLA’s freshman Molly Tideback scored 16 points in 22 minutes before leaving the game for good early in the second half because of foul trouble.
The Bruins will play Cincinnati at 7 tonight in a consolation game. No. 4 Georgia beat Cincinnati, 66-45. North Carolina State will meet Georgia for the tournament title.
