A22-year-old motorist was killed early Wednesday after his vehicle slammed into a guard-rail on a San Diego Freeway off-ramp in Van Nuys and overturned, authorities said.
The driver was identified as Eric Wilson of Bakersfield, said Pat Smith, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Wilson was thrown from his vehicle and crushed when the car rolled over him in the 1:20 a.m. accident on the southbound Victory Boulevard off-ramp, said Officer Robert Weaver of the California Highway Patrol.
Wilson was the only occupant in the car, and no other vehicles were involved, Weaver said.
