Stage director Will Roberson will direct West Coast Lyric Opera’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors” production next month at the Hahn Cosmopolitan Theatre, according to the new opera company’s spokesman, Kendall Klug. Earlier this fall, Roberson directed the off-Broadway and Toronto productions of “Suds,” a locally produced musical review. This production of Menotti’s now-traditional Christmastime opera will have a set designed by artist DeLoss McGraw.
