Canadians Will Be Tested Before Competition

All athletes named to future Canadian teams attending the Pan American and Olympic Games will be required to pass a drug test before leaving the country, Canadian Olympic Assn. officials have announced.

Details of the out-of-competition testing will be arranged later, but the testing will be unannounced. The program will be instituted before the Pan American Games at Havana in 1991.
