Dick Clark Productions Earnings Up, Revenue Off
- Share via
Dick Clark Productions earned $435,000, or 5 cents a share, in the first quarter that ended Sept. 30, up from $94,000, or 1 cent a share, a year earlier.
The profit for the Burbank television and film production company came despite a 35% drop in revenue, to $4.9 million from $7.6 million a year earlier. The company attributed the higher profit to the start of a network series, the recognition of revenue from a finished feature film, the sale of a television movie and the production of television specials.
