Parachutists Jump From Bridge in Annual Event

FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. — More than 300 parachutists from around the world leaped Saturday from the New River Gorge Bridge, North America’s second-highest, during the ninth annual Bridge Day. The National Park Service said 150,000 people watched the show, which was marred last year by the death of a jumper. No serious injuries were reported Saturday.
