North Hollywood 7, Van Nuys 3--North Hollywood quarterback Jerry Andrews threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Maurice Martin with 10:17 left in the game at Van Nuys to give the Huskies their first win of the season.
Tim Sutton intercepted a pass by Van Nuys quarterback Keith Quigley in the final seconds at the North Hollywood 10-yard line to ice the game for the Huskies.
Cuneyt Karacuha kicked a 42-yard field goal with 4:09 left for the Wolves’ only score.
Andrews completed 6 of 7 for 95 yards and Russell Green caught 5 passes for 88 yards.
Van Nuys running back Victor Flowers gained 77 yards in 20 carries. Quigley completed 9 of 22 passes for 88 yards.
