Local News in Brief : Politics : Rep. Boxer to Speak at Luncheon for Lenney

Rep. Barbara Boxer (D-Vallejo) will speak Monday at a luncheon for Lida Lenney, the Democratic candidate for the 40th Congressional District.
Lenney is opposing C. Christopher Cox, the Republican nominee, in the heavily GOP district.
The event will be at noon at the home of Deborah Sperberg and John O. Strong, 609 Seaward Road, Corona del Mar.
