7 S. African Miners Killed

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — Fire broke out inside a gold mine Thursday, killing seven miners underground. A spokesman for Anglo American Corp., the country’s largest mining conglomerate, said the fire occurred at a mine near Carletonville, about 25 miles west of Johannesburg.
