Laser Precision of Irvine has named Brent G. Vitek general manager of its Analect Instruments Division, which makes laser instruments used in chemical analysis.
Vitek succeeds former Analect general manager Norman A. Jennings, who resigned earlier this year in a dispute among the company’s top management. The dispute also led to the resignation of Walter M. Doyle, the firm’s founder and former chairman.
Laser Precision is a maker of radiation measurement equipment, laser instruments and fiber optics products.
