Ronstadt’s Roots Not a Hit With Some Fans

BOSTON — Linda Ronstadt has been touring for quite a while now, singing songs from her album of Mexican folk songs, “Canciones de Mi Padre,” which translates to “Songs of My Father,” but apparently not everyone appreciates their Spanish-only lyrics.
She performed at the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts in the Boston area over the weekend and had to ignore cries of “English! English!” from disgruntled fans in the crowd. Many bolted midway through the show and demanded their money back.
