The Atlantic Coast Conference and the Florida Citrus Bowl announced a flexible four-year agreement conditionally tying the ACC champion to the New Year’s Day bowl. The conference champion may skip the Citrus Bowl to play in either the Cotton, Sugar or Orange bowls for the national championship if the ACC team is ranked in Nos. 2, 3, or 4 by United Press International.
