Micro General Corp. reported net income of $105,350 for the second quarter ended June 26. It earned net income of $7,821 for the comparable period a year ago. Revenue rose 36%, to $1.7 million from $1.2 million for the year-earlier quarter. Net income for the first half was $172,189. It had a net loss of $10,475 for the first six months a year ago. Revenue totaled $3.1 million, 38% higher than the $2.2 million posted for the similar period of 1987. Micro General, based in Irvine, manufactures mail and parcel shipping automation systems. The first-half gains were primarily attributable to service and rate revenue generated by supplying new postal and UPS rate tables to existing customers, the company said.
