Construction Spending Up 0.1%

WASHINGTON — Construction spending edged up 0.1% in June as continued strength in non-residential building offset declines in housing and government projects, the government said today.
The Commerce Department said building activity rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $402.8 billion in June, following a 0.8% increase in May.
