A Woodland Hills man was shot with a pellet gun from a passing pickup truck as he and a woman were walking a dog, Los Angeles police said Sunday.
Thel Eichmann, 50, was walking south in the 5200 block of Winnetka Avenue at 11:15 p.m. Saturday when an occupant of a small truck opened fire on him, Sgt. Jim Thompson said.
Eichmann was taken to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Woodland Hills, where a pellet was removed from his right forearm, Thompson said. The woman, who was walking 20 feet behind Eichmann, was not hurt. She asked that police not reveal her name.
Investigators have no suspects in the shooting.
