Pope, Dalai Lama Meet

VATICAN CITY — Pope John Paul II received the Dalai Lama in a private audience at the Vatican today for talks on religious values and world peace. The meeting with the exiled spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism lasted about 20 minutes, the Vatican said.
