Alhambra Library Receives $5,000 U.S. Grant

ALHAMBRA — The Public Library has received a $5,000 grant from the federal Library Services and Construction Act to expand the collection for older adults.
The library will use the money to buy large-print books, full-length books on tape, audio-cassettes, medical and legal reference material and publications that focus on older adults’ life experiences.
The main library is at 410 W. Main St. and the Granada Park branch is at 2037 S. Fremont Ave.
