The International Boxing Federation may take its heavyweight title away from Mike Tyson and is considering holding a title elimination tournament to replace him, IBF president Robert Lee said.
Lee said that if Tyson’s camp continued to insist that his title bout against Michael Spinks June 27 be scheduled for 12 rounds, rather than 15, the IBF may be forced to take action.
