OCC Swamps the Competition in Rowing Finals

Orange Coast College dominated the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships on Lake Natoma outside Sacramento Sunday.
OCC had two firsts, a second and a third. OCC’s varsity 4 boat set a course record of 6 minutes, 37 seconds over the 2,000 meter course. Sacramento State was second at 6:39.
OCC also won the novice 8 in 6:08. Washington won the junior varsity 8 in 6:15 and OCC was second at 6:17. Washington won the freshman 8 in 6:20, UCLA (6:22) was second and OCC (6:24) third.
