Adrienne Brown, wife of soul-singer James Brown, was arrested in Augusta, Ga., Friday for the second time this month and charged with possession of the drug PCP, Augusta police said. Brown’s arrest came two days after her husband was arrested on drug and weapons charges, assaulting his wife and resisting arrest. After being arrested at the Augusta airport, Brown was searched at a local jail and found to be in possession of two vials suspected to contain PCP. She is scheduled to appear in a Bedford, N.H., court on Wednesday to answer charges arising from a May 10 arrest on charges of possession of PCP, criminal mischief and arson.
