FBI’s Inquiry Into Ferguson Campaign Funds

I understand that Assemblyman Gil Ferguson (R-Newport Beach), is under investigation by the FBI in connection with allegations that he did not report several thousand dollars in campaign funds.
Why hasn’t there been more newspaper coverage of this? Worse, if it should prove to be true, and the man is indicted and convicted, we will have no Assembly representative for our district.
If the investigation should bear fruit, it will serve to strengthen the reprehensibleness of his other acts, such as voting to tax Social Security income and forcing overcrowding of our schools by requiring year-round schools and/or double sessions if we want money for new schools.
