Silvercrest Industries reported a loss of $537,000 for the third quarter ended March 31, contrasted with net income of $453,000 in the year-earlier period. Revenue declined 4% to $16.3 million from $16.9 million for the like period last year. Richard Simonian, president of the Santa Ana-based manufactured-housing company, said third-quarter earnings were affected by start-up costs related to the new San Fernando Mobile Home Park. For the nine-month period, net earnings were $65,000, compared to earnings of $1.5 million during the year-earlier period. Revenue increased 8% to $52.5 million from the $48.4 million reported for the first three quarters of last fiscal year.
