Esperanza Names Hill Basketball Coach

Mark Hill was hired as the head basketball coach at Esperanza High School Thursday, Athletic Director Jim Patterson said.
Hill, 29, replaces interim coach Mike Moore. Esperanza was 10-11 overall and 5-5 in the Empire League last season.
Hill, a graduate of El Toro High School, was an assistant coach at Tustin from 1985-87. He has previously coached and played in Switzerland.
